It is Time to Dream Bigger again! Remember when you were a kid and no dream seemed too big? The World seemed like such a big place and you believed that any dream that you had could come true. There was no such thing as a dream that was too big. It is time to Dream Bigger again!
What is it that you really want? A new house? A new car? A better job? A job that is more fulfilling? You can make it happen! Take that dream and make it a reality! It is never too late and opportunities await you.
It will take faith and belief. Belief in yourself and that you deserve to have your dreams fulfilled. Have the faith of a child and watch as your dreams become reality. Because when we are children life seems full of possibilities and everything is new! It is time to dream like that is true again!
Dream like a Child
When I was in first grade my teacher wrote in my report card that I spent too much time day-dreaming. What a thing to say about a child! I remember my uncle coming over and sitting me down and telling me not to listen. He told me that dreaming was important and that I should keep doing it and not listen when others told me not to. I want to make sure that everyone knows that dreaming is good! It is important for us to always have new dreams and to make those into goals. And to then do the work to make them come true!
For me my big dream is to stay at home with my son. For the first nine years of his life I worked 12-13 hours a day 6-7 days a week. I was constantly on my phone and answering emails for work. I didn’t get to enjoy my time with him or be present enough. When he turned nine I realized that time was slipping away and I only had nine more years of his childhood. I made a choice. And I quit my job. Because I decided that my time with him was much more important to me and certainly more valuable. It was scary to leave a job that I had been at for 14 years, but I knew it was the right thing to do. God would provide. It has been a struggle but it was worth it. He is happier and so am I. That is a dream fulfilled!
Create new Dreams as they come true
My next big dream is to be financially stable. I want to be able to thrive financially without having to stress out about money or to struggle. To be able to give back to others that are struggling. To sponsor more children that are in need. I want to create a better life for my family and I want to help others that cannot help themselves. I want to give my son a good life and make sure that he always has everything that he needs, and I want him to see that it is important to pay it forward. And to help others whenever possible.
Dreams are important. They keep us going and give us something to live for. In America we live in a country that was born out of dreams. We have so much to be thankful for, but we can still dream for more! It is not selfish to have dreams or to want more than what you have. So find your dreams today and start making them a reality! It is time to dream bigger! And when your dreams come true- find new ones to take their place!
