Fall in Love with Vermont

This is the time of year to Fall in Love with Vermont. The foliage is in full swing and the colors are amazing! This is my favorite time of year in Vermont. The temperatures are still mild in the 50’s and 60’s during the day with cooler nights. And the vibrant colors on the trees can never truly be replicated. Truly a sight to behold!

We have a lot of Tourists this time of year and the reason is certainly no secret to us. I can’t imagine anywhere more beautiful or natural colors so magnificent. Visit Stowe to drive through the mountains and grab some of our famous Maple Syrup. Or maybe Woodstock is more your speed- equally beautiful and picturesque. With plenty of places to stay and deals to be had you don’t want to miss out!

I have lived here for my entire life, but still am blown away each and every year by the beauty of nature. We have mountains and lawns beautifully colored by the changing leaves. You will most likely see deer in the fields and maybe even a hawk or two. This is Nature at its finest. I can’t wait for you to try a hot apple cider donut after you go on a wagon ride at the pumpkin patch. This is how memories are made. You won’t be able to help but Fall in Love with Vermont once you have visited.

There is so much to do and see!

Might I recommend visiting an apple orchard while you’re here as it is apple picking season in the Fall! There is a noticeable difference between eating an apple from the grocery store or one that you picked yourself directly from the source. You will be absolutely amazed at the difference in taste!

It is considered “Sweater Weather” so get cozy while you spend time here! This is a great place to take a family vacation or a long weekend with your partner to enjoy some quiet, quality time together. Stay at a quaint Bed and Breakfast in Woodstock or a beautiful Inn in Stowe. You can even find one that is within walking distance to many shopping locations or local destinations. There is so much history and culture wrapped up into this state. And the scenery is truly breathtaking. There is nowhere like it.

This time of year is also perfect for a hike and we have plenty of mountains for it! We recommend Mt. Mansfield where you will see glorious views from the top. You may even get to see a dusting of snow in the higher elevations. Don’t forget your camera (or your phone that already has one built in) because you will want to capture these moments. There is nothing like breathing in fresh, crisp mountain air without any pollution or buildings skewing your views.

Come see us soon!

This may be my favorite season but that doesn’t mean that the others aren’t beautiful as well. Winter in Vermont is popular for skiing and snowboarding- again we have plenty of destinations to make this dream come true. Summer is beautiful and Spring is my second favorite time of year here when the snow melts and everything starts to come back to life. With four seasons to choose from there is something for everyone. Come see us soon!
